Your feedback Matters.

From June to August 2024, 123 students participated in a Student Experience Survey to share their thoughts on their time with NCOBS. Participation was voluntary and anonymous. These students, ages 14-18 years old, recently completed a 9-, 14-, or 22-day Open Enrollment wilderness course. Thank you to all who shared feedback. Your response was heard and we are excited to continue improving and enhancing course experiences for future students. 

What We Learned From You: 

• 91% reported that instructors created a supportive environment on course.
• 83% reported that instructors provided opportunities for students to challenge themselves on course.
• 81% reported that it was easy to make connections with their instructors.
• 85% reported they learned things on course that they can do on their own.
• 89% reported feeling encouraged to be themselves. 
• Students on longer courses reported higher satisfaction overall with their course experience.
